Thought and thought process

We’re interested in breathing in thoughts of people we respect/admire or people we question/mistrust. It’s about gathering a better understanding of the “hows” and “whys” in this world. Extensive articles and essays are great to facilitate this but with their elaboration, they also often hide those rough edges that could spark unexpected associations in the reader’s minds.

That’s why we’re also interested in the thought process. The mostly to and fro, often choppy path from a sudden inspiration to a well expressed and clear body of thought.

That’s why I think Medium’s less long approach is the right direction and I believe it won’t lead to a diminishing of long articles, but rather to a decrease in fragmented, abbreviated, often contextless tweets and status updates.

I tried to establish something I called “a place for sudden reflection, fresh thoughts and unformed ideas” on our website, but failed to adhere. Let’s see where this goes.

My name is Christophe Stoll, i’m a co-founder of precious design studio in Hamburg, Germany. We design how people interact with (digital) everyday things — today and in the future.
